Here are the main farms and companies that supply us our seafood:
Taylor Shellfish Farms
- Quilcene, WA
It all began in Totten Inlet with the tiny Olympia Oyster. The great great-grandfather found his true calling in oyster farming, which started their legacy that lives on today. Since then, every generation of the Taylor family has grown up with a passion for shellfish and for the close-knit communities and rugged landscapes of Western Washington.
One thing they’ve learned over the years is that consistently producing high quality shellfish requires a long-term commitment to people and place. They are dedicated to their communities, employees and the environment in which they work. They plan to maintain this legacy for many generations to come.
Hama Hama Co.
- Lilliwaup, WA
Hama Hama is a fifth generation family-run shellfish farm on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Their beds are located at the mouth of one of the shortest, coldest, and least developed rivers in Washington State, and that purity is reflected in the clean, crisp flavor of the oysters downstream. Their mission is pretty simple: utilize low impact farming methods to grow world-class oysters, have fun, and leave something good for the next guy.
They grow two varieties of oysters at their home farm: classic, beach-grown Hama Hamas and tumble farmed Blue Pools. They also source oysters from elsewhere in Washington State, procuring super-sweet Sea Cows and Hove Coves from the nutrient rich estuaries of South Puget Sound. They also offer Hama Hama Clams and Purple Savory Clams.
Jamestown Seafood
- Port Angeles, WA
A collaborative effort with the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe, Jamestown Seafood is exciting seafood enthusiasts around the nation, introducing a distinctive and delicious new line of oysters from the Pacific Northwest.
